Tank Chair

TANK CHAIR Reveals a New Trailer and Cast Member

The upcoming TANK CHAIR anime has received another major promotional update just weeks before its television debut.

A second main promotional video was released on September 17, introducing additional footage from the series and revealing Megumi Ogata as Sensei.

The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan on October 4, 2026.

An Unusual Assassin Story

TANK CHAIR follows Nagi Taira, an assassin who becomes comatose after protecting his younger sister Shizuka from a bullet.

His sister remains by his side while his former classmate Naozumi Kurosaka develops a fierce rivalry with him.

The premise quickly becomes much more unusual than the title suggests.

The series combines assassins, intense combat and a wheelchair that becomes central to Nagi’s fighting style.

Megumi Ogata Joins the Cast

The newly revealed Sensei character adds another major voice to the cast, with Ogata joining the production alongside the previously announced cast.

The promotional material has also emphasized the series’ highly stylized action and its violent confrontations.

October Premiere

The production has announced SiM as the opening-theme artist, with Daoko performing the ending theme.

The anime is being produced by Polygon Pictures.

With the premiere approaching, the latest trailer gives viewers a clearer idea of the show’s action-heavy direction.

TANK CHAIR is therefore entering its final promotional stage before its October debut.
